Shelley Randles has spent her career working with students, the last 20 of them in college admission consulting.  She began her work with a college access community based organization, Uncommon Good, as a coordinator of a mentoring program that guides first generation families and their students in the college process. Her approach to counseling is meeting kids where they are and guiding them achieve their goals.  She focuses on a student's strengths, helping them create personal narratives, and providing opportunities for students to mature and grow.

After She earned her master’s degree in Educational Counseling and a Pupil Personnel Services Credential, she began her independent educational consulting practice. She is a member of professional associations centered on college advising and admission, and subscribes to the ethical principles and guidelines which centers students in this practice.

Shelley will slowly be transitioning from individual counseling to group workshops. Please reach out for further information.
